AMATEUR BASEBALL: Pipestone shuts out Adrian 3-0 in Gopher League action

ADRIAN — It was a battle of A’s Friday as the Pipestone A’s shut out the Adrian A’s 3-0 in Gopher League amateur baseball action.

Brandon Alsson hit a solo homer in the fifth and Danny Moffit hit a two-run double in the first inning to cap the scoring for Pipestone.

Zach Dingmann threw six innings, striking out nine and giving up three earned runs, while Drew Strand pitched three innings, striking out three and giving up no earned runs for Adrian (1-2).

Dingmann was 1-for-4 and Levi Bullerman was 2-for-3 for Adrian.
