WECC offers reading and memory class
WINDOM – The Windom Education and Collaborative Center (WECC) will offer a speed reading and memory class from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., June 11.
WINDOM – The Windom Education and Collaborative Center (WECC) will offer a speed reading and memory class from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., June 11.
The class will use the Z-Stroke method of learning how to do speed reading. Reading with the Z-method is a quick way to scan text and pick out keys words for content words that give you an understanding of the topic and its main points.
Also covered during the class is building the capacity of one’s memory.
Instructor for the class is Michael Monroe Kiefer, Ridgewater College adjunct faculty.
This class is being offered through a partnership between Ridgewater College and WECC. It will be presented live through the WECC video conferencing system in the WECC Room 10.
There is a fee for attending. For more information or to register, call the BARC – WECC office, (507) 831-2375, or email wecc@windomnet.com. WECC also accepts charge cards for payment. Please register by June 8th.
