State surplus auction is Saturday

NEW ULM — The State of Minnesota will auction approximately 35 cars and trucks, boat-motor-trailer packages, snowmobiles, equipment trailers, riding lawn mowers, Vermeer tree spade, shop equipment, Mohawk hoist, pickup tool boxes, fork attachments and more on Saturday in New Ulm.

NEW ULM — The State of Minnesota will auction approximately 35 cars and trucks, boat-motor-trailer packages, snowmobiles, equipment trailers, riding lawn mowers, Vermeer tree spade, shop equipment, Mohawk hoist, pickup tool boxes, fork attachments and more on Saturday in New Ulm.

The auction opens for inspection and registration at 8 a.m., with bidding beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Brown County Fairgrounds, 1200 North State St., New Ulm. All goods are sold as-is, where-is; all sales are final and must be settled in full with cash or personal check the day of the auction.

Registration and bidding numbers are available online. Instructions are on the ‘Auctions’ link of the Surplus Services website, www.mnsurplus.org. Current customers of the state’s MinnBid internet auction service can get a bidding card online in just seconds.

The state conducts about 12 surplus goods auctions each year and also sells surplus continuously online at www.minnbid.org.
