WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated a hit-and-run accident at 11:12 a.m. Wednesday at Hy-Vee, 1235 Oxford St.
ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa — The Lyon County Sheriff investigated a two-vehicle accident at 4:57 p.m. Tuesday at U.S. 75 and Lyon County A52. Paul A. Tschetter, 39, of Ethan, S.D., was driving a 2005 Peterbilt semi-trailer rig. Karen Ver Meer, 53, of Boyden, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Impala. Ver Meer was transported via Lyon County Ambulance for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The Impala sustained $15,000 in damages; the Peterbilt sustained $1,500 in damages.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 6:41 p.m. Tuesday to 1950 First Ave. S.W. to assist a male who was bleeding from the head.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated a theft reported at 4:48 p.m. Tuesday from the Worthington Area YMCA. The theft allegedly occurred on Monday.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated a possible scam reported at 11:40 a.m. Wednesday from a location on Nobles County 35.
WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department cited a driver for driving after cancellation at 3:36 p.m. Wednesday at 10th Street and Seventh Avenue.
