7 make All-SWC tennis and softball for WHS

WORTHINGTON — Conference awards were handed out for softball and tennis in the Southwest Conference.
In softball, Pipestone Area had five players make the all-conference squad in Tasia Woelber, Paige Petersen, Kelly Nettik, Tiffany Woelber and Amanda Haupert.
Catlyn Muir, Marita Rasche and Brook Klontz, of Jackson County Central, made the softball squad, as did Angela Robinson, K.C. Riley and Jenny Majerus, of Worthington, Ashley Olson, of Luverne, and Abby Hayenga, of Windom.
Honorable mentions went to Jasmine Erickson, of JCC, Ellen Dahl, of LHS, Jamie Symens, of Windom, Cassie Evans and Mikayala Enger, of PA, and Rebecca Linder and Paige Kinley, of WHS.
WHS gets four on
all-conference tennis
WORTHINGTON — Luverne’s Blake Ziegler, Dustin Deutsch, Joey Vajgrt, Jonny Vajgrt and Scott NelsoN all made the All-Southwest Conference tennis squads, along with Pipestone Area’s Avery Ploeger and Worthington’s Carter Lindner, Dan Wetering, Jonah Oberloh and Lance Homan.
