Parents of the couple are Karen Dykstra, Worthington, and Merlyn Hines, Huron, S.D.

Dykstra is employed as a certified nursing assistant at Maple Lawn Nursing Home, Fulda.

Hines is employed as an over-the-road trucker.

They plan an Aug. 17 wedding at McKennan Park, Sioux Falls, S.D., and a reception Aug. 18 at the Eagles Club in Worthington.
