Register for ‘New Conversations’

WORTHINGTON — A professional development training, “New Conversations about Race and Racism,” will be offered July 24-25 at Minnesota West Community & Technical College, Worthington campus (room 113).

WORTHINGTON — A professional development training, “New Conversations about Race and Racism,” will be offered July 24-25 at Minnesota West Community & Technical College, Worthington campus (room 113). This training is part of the Facing Race Initiative through the St. Paul Foundation. The facilitator, Rozwat Shipchandler will engage participants in large and small group activities.

The training will meet from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. July 24 and 9:30 a.m.to 3:30 p.m. July 25.

Nobles County Integration Collaborative (NCIC) and Minnesota West are co-sponsoring this opportunity. The training is free, but there is a fee for lunch on July 25. Certificates of attendance will be provided. To register, phone 376-3300.
