NOTICE

PROPOSED CITY ORDINANCE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, That the City Council of the City of Worthington, Minnesota, is considering the adoption of an ordinance entitled “AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE PART OF PLATTED PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS IN LOTS 1 AND 2, BLOCK 2, PRAIRIE EXPO FIRST EDITION as follows:

Section I

The following described portion of the platted public utility easement in Lot 1, Block 2, Prairie Expo First Addition, City of Worthington, Nobles County, Minnesota, be vacated:

The east 10.00 feet of the north 280.00 feet of the south 290.00 feet of Lot 1, Block 2, Prairie Expo First Addition, City of Worthington, Nobles County, Minnesota

Section II

The following described portion of the platted public utility easement in Lot 2, Block 2, Prairie Expo First Addition, City of Worthington, Nobles County, Minnesota, be vacated:

The west 10.00 feet of the north 280.00 feet of the south 290.00 feet of Lot 2 Block 2, Prairie Expo First Addition, City of Worthington, Nobles County, Minnesota

which proposed ordinance was given its second reading at a Regular Meeting of the City Council held on Monday, June 25, 2012.

All persons interested in these proceedings are hereby notified that the third reading will be given said proposed ordinance at the Council Chambers in the City Hall of said City on Monday, July 9, 2012, commencing at 7:00 o’clock p.m. of said day; and that, at said time and place, the City Council will hear any and all objections that there may be to said proposed ordinance.
