SIBLEY, Iowa – The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office investigated a car-deer accident reported at 8:25 p.m. Saturday on Iowa 9, west of White Avenue. A 2001 GMC pickup operated by Cory Vaselaar, 43, of Sheldon, Iowa, sustained approximately $2,500 in damages. No injuries were reported.
WORTHINGTON – The Worthington Police Department investigated an accident reported at 6:14 p.m. Sunday in the 500 block of Nobles Street.
Ambulance
WORTHINGTON – The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 10:29 a.m. Monday to the Worthington Area YMCA for an elderly male who was not responsive.
Fire
WORTHINGTON – The Worthington Fire Department was dispatched at 11:36 a.m. Monday to Hy-Vee for a car on fire in the parking lot.
Police
HARRIS, Iowa – The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office arrested Karrie J. Ferguson, 52, of Spirit Lake, Iowa, for allegedly driving while revoked. She was booked into Osceola County Jail on a $1,000 cash bond.
SIBLEY, Iowa – The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office arrested Javier M. Granados, 23, of Worthington, in rural Osceola County for allegedly operating while intoxicated-third offense and open container. He was also cited for speeding. Granados was booked into Osceola County Jail on a $5,300 cash bond.
RUSHMORE – The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office investigated a possible burglary reported at 12:23 a.m. Sunday from the 200 block of North Ludlow Avenue.
WORTHINGTON – The Worthington Police Department received a report at 1:49 p.m. Sunday from the 800 block of Thompson Avenue of an assault that had taken place the previous evening. An adult male was arrested at Prairie Justice Center at 9:21 p.m. Sunday.
