George celebrates Fourth of July
GEORGE, Iowa — The George Fourth of July Celebration will begin Wednesday with a 5K Fun Run at 8 a.m., followed by duck races at 9 a.m.
GEORGE, Iowa — The George Fourth of July Celebration will begin Wednesday with a 5K Fun Run at 8 a.m., followed by duck races at 9 a.m.
The rest of the day’s schedule includes: 10:30 a.m., Miss George and Little Miss George contest; 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Good Samaritan Society hog roast fundraiser; noon, dedication of pool donor wall and antique tractor pull registration; 2 p.m., parade; 3 p.m., antique tractor pull; 3:30 to 8 p.m., inflatables and games; 6:30 p.m., Country Grass; 8 p.m., pie auction; 9:30 p.m., fireworks.
