SOCCER: Worthington FC U15s finish season 8-0-4 and clinch trip to state tourney

WORTHINGTON — Worthington’s FC 15-and-under team shut out West Martin 10-0 Monday to seal the South District League Championship, finishing the season with an 8-0-4 record.

WORTHINGTON — Worthington’s FC 15-and-under team shut out West Martin 10-0 Monday to seal the South District League Championship, finishing the season with an 8-0-4 record.

Thanks to the win, the squad will get to bypass both the district and region playoffs and earns an automatic seed in the U15s state tournament in Lakeland July 21 and 22 with the championship game being held on the July 25.
