One dead in boating accident

LAKE SHETEK - An individual died early Sunday in a boat accident on Lake Shetek.
The only information available on the accident Sunday afternoon was a statement from Murray County Sheriff Steve Telkamp.
“There was a fatal boat accident on Lake Shetek during the early hours of July 8, 2012,” Telkamp’s statement said. “The incident is being investigated by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office. No further details are available at this time.”
