Name: Robert (Bob) Paplow

City or Township in which you reside: City of Bigelow

Occupation: Construction Manager for Johnson Builders and Realtors

What qualifications do you have for seeking a county board seat? I believe I have the qualifications for seeking the county board seat because I deal with the public on a daily basis with the profession that I am in as Construction Manager for Johnson Builders and Realtors and also with the positions I hold in the City of Bigelow as a City Council Member, Assistant Mayor, Member of the Fire and Rescue and Civil Defense. I have the experience of budgeting finances for the community I live in and the ability to work well with other members of the council, departments and the citizens of Bigelow.

What is your top priority in county government? My top priority in the county government would be to resolve issues and make Nobles County a stronger and better place to live. I believe there is no collaboration between the districts for the better of Nobles County and I believe this has to change. I also believe Nobles County needs to work together with neighboring counties.

Explain ideas you have to address your top priority: My idea of addressing this priority is to listen to everyone’s concerns and try to resolve them for the better of Nobles County and not to be one sided.

What would you like to see accomplished in the county in the next four years? What I would like to see accomplished in the county in the next four years would be to have everyone work together as a whole and educating the public on the issues in our county and allow people to give their input and try to do what the people want.

Additional comments: I admit I don’t know all the issues concerning Nobles County but I am willing and eager to learn to represent the people of Nobles County in District #3. I say what I feel, be it good or bad, but I say it like it is and I feel people trust me. I would greatly appreciate your vote for Nobles County Commission District #3. Thank-you, Robert Paplow.
