Tours, music part of Hinkly House events

LUVERNE — Thursday Nights at the Hinkly House will debut this week with a performance by the Great Plains String Quartet, reception and tours from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight. The event is free and open to the public.

LUVERNE — Thursday Nights at the Hinkly House will debut this week with a performance by the Great Plains String Quartet, reception and tours from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight. The event is free and open to the public.

The Hinkly House, on the National Historic Register, is located at 217 N. Freeman Ave., in Luverne.

Additional events planned include a reception and tours from 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 2, with a performance by Cindy Crable’s Spotlight Dancers at 5:30 p.m.; and a reception and tours from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 9, with a performance by the Jasper Blowhards at 7 p.m.
