WORTHINGTON — Authorities are seeking information regarding the identity of a woman wanted for questioning in a shoplifting case at Wal-Mart.

According to the Worthington Police Department, the woman in question came into the store Tuesday with two children — one Caucasian, one African American. Surveillance video shows she was also with a Caucasian man who could be in his late 20s or early 30s.

They left in a black four-door vehicle, make and model unknown, at approximately 12:30 p.m.

Employees of Wal-Mart found two empty boxes — one for a Blu-Ray player, the other for a portable DVD player. Surveillance video shows the people in question in the store carrying the boxed items, and then later appearing back on camera without the boxes.

The total value of the two items is $308.17.

Anyone with information regarding the items or the identity of the woman in the photo is asked to call the Worthington Police Department at 372-2136.
