Water main work starts next week

WORTHINGTON — The City of Worthington Engineering Department announced Friday water main work is tentatively scheduled to begin as early as Monday.

WORTHINGTON — The City of Worthington Engineering Department announced Friday water main work is tentatively scheduled to begin as early as Monday on Elmwood Avenue from Oxford Street to West Clary Street.

Elmwood Avenue will be closed to through traffic, and West Oxford Street at Elmwood Avenue will be closed to through traffic for approximately two days. Weather permitting and construction proceeding as planned, Elmwood Avenue pipe and pavement work should be completed and normal traffic restored in late August to early September.
