City busy with street projects

WORTHINGTON — The City of Worthington released Thursday a construction site list for streets within the community.

The following street locations are affected:

* Collegeway — North Crailsheim Road (CSAH 10) to Thompson Avenue. The last bituminous paving work began Wednesday and, after an equipment delay Thursday, it was the hoped the paving work would be completed Friday.

* Dover Street area — Sanitary sewer spot repairs from Douglas Avenue to Clifton Avenue. Temporary bituminous restoration remains. Work has been postponed with no schedule at this time.

* Elmwood Avenue water main reconstruction — Oxford Street to West Clary Street. Pipe work began Monday.

Additionally, 2012 bituminous overlay projects have been delayed and are now rescheduled to begin Monday. Those locations are: Fox Farm Road, Milton Avenue, Omaha Avenue, Strait Avenue and Sherwood Street.

Seal coat projects in multiple locations were also postponed due to weather and were scheduled to begin Friday.
