Street projects under way in city
WORTHINGTON – The following street construction is ongoing within the city of Worthington:
WORTHINGTON – The following street construction is ongoing within the city of Worthington:
l Elmwood Avenue water main reconstruction Oxford Street to West Clary Street: Pipe work was to be completed by Friday. Pavement restoration is tentatively scheduled to start as early as today.
l Reconstruction of alleys in Block 28 (between Sixth and Seventh avenues and Ninth and 10th steets): Bituminous pavement reconstruction began Tuesday.
Additionally, work at the concrete pad and storage building at Worthington’s airport began July 27 and is ongoing. Bituminous overlay scheduled along Sherwood Street has been rescheduled for late August.
