Accidents

PIPESTONE – The Pipestone County Sheriff’s Office investigated a two-vehicle accident at 2:08 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Eighth Avenue S.E. and Third Street S.E. A 2002 Hyundai XG350 operated by Michael Dollarhide of Pipestone was waiting to turn when it was struck by a 1998 Chevy Cavalier operated by Matthew Hamersma of Pipestone. A passenger in the Hyundai was transported by Pipestone Ambulance to Pipestone County Medical Center. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage, and the Pipestone Fire Department was also dispatched to the scene.

LITTLE ROCK, Iowa – The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office investigated a car-heifer accident at 4 a.m. Sunday on Monroe Avenue, south of 120th Street. A 2011 Chevrolet Silverado operated by Nicholas Odens, 34, of Little Rock, sustained approximately $11,000 in damages. No injuries were reported.

ADRIAN – The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office investigated a car-deer accident reported at 8:21 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Nobles County 35 and Bulick Avenue.

WORTHINGTON – The Worthington Police Department investigated an accident at 7:20 a.m. Monday at Northland Mall.

Fire

BREWSTER – The Brewster Fire Department was dispatched at 1:57 p.m. Monday to Minnesota 60 near mile marker 16 for a grass fire. The fire was extinguished.

WORTHINGTON – The Worthington Police Department cited an individual for no Minnesota driver’s license and no insurance at 7:21 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and 12th Street.

WORTHINGTON – The Worthington Police Department received a report of a billfold theft at 7:34 p.m. Friday from Wal-Mart.

WORTHINGTON – The Worthington Police Department investigated a possible assault reported at 6:34 p.m. Saturday from the 1800 block of First Avenue.

WORTHINGTON – The Worthington Police Department arrested an adult male for disorderly conduct at 7:48 p.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of Grand Avenue.

BIGELOW – The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office arrested an adult male on a local warrant at 11:23 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of 310th Street and Nobles County 4.

WORTHINGTON – The Worthington Police Department cited an individual for no Minnesota driver’s license at 12:52 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of 14th Street and Third Avenue.

WORTHINGTON – The Worthington Police Department investigated a possible burglary reported at 2:41 a.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of East Ninth Avenue.

HARRIS, Iowa – The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office arrested Roberta Elizabeth Nagel, 55, of Harris, on Sunday for allegedly striking another subject following a complaint of an assault. He was booked into Osceola County Jail on a $300 cash bond.

READING – The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office investigated property damage reported at 10:46 a.m. from the 27200 block of 198th Street.

WORTHINGTON – The Worthington Police Department investigated property damage to a garden reported at 11:16 a.m. Monday from the 200 block of 10th Avenue.
