Accidents

WORTHINGTON – The Worthington Police Department investigated a hit-and-run accident reported at 8:24 p.m. Saturday from the 1100 block of Clary Street.

WORTHINGTON – The Worthington Police Department investigated an accident reported at 12:50 a.m. Sunday from JBS.

JACKSON – The Minnesota State Patrol investigated an accident reported at 11:40 a.m. Sunday in the Dairy Queen parking lot. A 1995 Dodge Intrepid operated by Dennis M. Hanson, 68, of Jackson, backed into a squad car. No injuries were reported.

LUVERNE – The Minnesota State Patrol investigated an accident reported at 2:54 p.m. Sunday on Interstate 90 near milepost 16. A 1997 Dodge Ram pickup operated by Theresa M. Moyer, 57, of Larchwood, Iowa, lost a dresser. A 2007 Harley Davidson operated by Jason F. Soleta, 37, of Heron Lake, struck the dresser, and a 2003 Harley Davidson (operator unidentified) struck the debris and went down. The unidentified driver was transported to Sanford Medical Center, Sioux Falls, S.D., while a passenger was taken to Luverne’s hospital.

Ambulance

WORTHINGTON – The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 7:34 p.m. Friday to Travelodge Hotel for an asthmatic male experiencing breathing difficulty.

WORTHINGTON – The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 10:03 p.m. Friday to 1011 Sherwood St. for a male who had cut his wrists.

ADRIAN – The Adrian Ambulance was dispatched at 1:54 p.m. Sunday to 401 Nevada Ave. for a male experiencing back pain. He was transported to Luverne’s hospital.

Police

HARRIS, Iowa – The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office arrested Monyetta Aquilla Hile, 26, and Rosland Latrice Johnson, 24, both of Chicago, Ill., at approximately 2 a.m. Friday on charges of possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were held in Osceola County Jail on a $1,300 cash bond. The arrest came from a traffic stop west of Harris.

WORTHINGTON – The Worthington Police Department received a report of an assault at 11:23 p.m. Friday from the 1500 block of Collegeway. The complainant said the alleged assault had taken place earlier at work.

WORTHINGTON – The Worthington Police Department investigated a motor vehicle theft reported at 1:21 a.m. Saturday from the 400 block of Lake Avenue.

WORTHINGTON – The Worthington Police Department arrested an individual for no Minnesota driver’s license at 1:15 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of 12th Street and Third Avenue.

ROUND LAKE – The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office investigated a domestic dispute reported at 3:23 p.m. Saturday from the 400 block of Harrison Street.

WORTHINGTON – The Worthington Police Department received a report of threats at 7:16 p.m. Saturday from Sunshine Apartments.

WORTHINGTON – The Worthington Police Department cited an individual for driving after cancellation at 7:55 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of East Avenue and Sherwood Street.
