‘Flower Power’ winners announced

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce through the Community Improvement Committee is sponsoring a “Flower Power – Yard of the Week.”

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce through the Community Improvement Committee is sponsoring a “Flower Power – Yard of the Week.” This week’s recipient is Jim and Mary Slater, 867 Brairwood Drive.

The committee also picks two businesses per month to share in the honor of “Flower Power Business of the Month.” The second recipient for August is Sterling Drug, 511 10th St.

Anyone is eligible to nominate a residence or a business as a candidate for the “Flower Power – Yard of the Week” or “Business of the Month” awards. Nominations can be made by calling the Chamber office at 372-2919.
