INWOOD, Iowa — The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle crash at approximately 8:50 a.m. Monday on 240th Street near the intersection of Douglas Street. Robert Joseph Bruggeman, 91, of Larchwood, entered the roadway from a private drive and into the path of Dale Thomas Robertson, 38, of Fairview, S.D., who was driving a 2006 Peterbuilt westbound on 240th Street. Bruggeman’s 2007 Chevy K-1500 pickup received approximately $2,500 in damage, while the Peterbuilt received approximately $750 in damage. No one was injured. Bruggeman was cited for failure to yield upon entering a through highway.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department responded to a crash at 2:05 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Clary Street and Humiston Avenue.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated a report of property damage at 7:27 a.m. Monday. A window was reported broken at Prairie Elementary, 1700 First Ave. SW.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department warned an adult female for trespass at the Worthington Laundromat at 12:34 p.m. Monday.

ELLSWORTH — The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office investigated a reported theft at 1:42 p.m. Monday at Domeyer Implement.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department responded to a report of trespassers at 3:54 p.m. Monday in the 1700 block of North Burlington Avenue.
