Taplett-Hesemann

Alyssa E. Hesemann, Ames, Iowa, and Jeffrey K. Taplett, Huron, S.D., announce their engagement.

Parents of the couple are Dale and Mary Hesemann, rural Lakefield, and Mike and Susan Taplett, Huron.

Hesemann is a 2007 graduate of Southwest Star Concept School and 2011 graduate of South Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in animal science. She is currently a first-year student in the veterinary medicine program at Iowa State University, Ames.

Taplett is a 2007 graduate of Huron High School and 2011 graduate of South Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. He is currently employed at the Huron Medical Center and has future employment at Mary Greeley Medical Center, Ames.

They plan a Sept. 29 wedding at Brookings Wesleyan Church, Brookings, S.D.
