LAKEFIELD — The Prairie Ecology Bus Center will host an invasive species workshop from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 13 at the PEBC office, located in Sparks Park in Lakefield.
LAKEFIELD — The Prairie Ecology Bus Center will host an invasive species workshop from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 13 at the PEBC office, located in Sparks Park in Lakefield.
The workshop will begin with a classroom session devoted to weed identification, replacement species and weed management methods. Lunch will be provided.
The interactive afternoon session will be devoted to hands-on weed management efforts and will begin with demonstrations of weed control methods.
There is no cost to attend the workshop, but pre-registration is necessary by Monday. For more and to register, call PEBC at (507) 662-5064.
