PIPESTONE — The summer Ghost Walks offered by the Pipestone Civil War Committee, in cooperation with the Pipestone County Museum, are back for Halloween.

Tours will be offered at 8 p.m. Oct. 24 and Oct. 27, starting at the Pipestone County Museum. Guests will stroll down Main Street and meander through alleyways, while a costumed guide spins tales of some bizarre and unusual local tales. Some history of the area is included.

Pre-registration is required, but walk-ins will be accommodated if space is available. The tour is not recommended for children. To register, call the Pipestone County Museum at (507) 825-2563. Proceeds from this joint fundraiser will go towards the Pipestone Civil War Festival activities and the Pipestone County Museum’s operations.

The Pipestone County Museum, 113 S. Hiawatha Ave., is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
