Man sought by Worthington police in conjunction with hit-and-run accident
WORTHINGTON — Jose Andres Lopez-Rivera, 26, is wanted for questioning regarding a hit-and-run crash that occurred around 5:48 p.m. Sept. 21 near the Clary Street and Humiston Avenue intersection, Worthington Police Officer Mark Riley said Wednesday.
WORTHINGTON — Jose Andres Lopez-Rivera, 26, is wanted for questioning regarding a hit-and-run crash that occurred around 5:48 p.m. Sept. 21 near the Clary Street and Humiston Avenue intersection, Worthington Police Officer Mark Riley said Wednesday.
While exact physical description details are not known, Riley estimates Lopez-Rivera to be about 5’4” tall and weigh approximately 140 lbs.
Riley said Lopez-Rivera’s last known address was at 1408 Murray Ave., Worthington.
“(Lopez-Rivera) is the owner of a car that hit another car and caused injuries, and the driver fled the scene,” Riley said. “We’re not sure if he was the driver or not. He got a ticket in June driving that vehicle, so we’re thinking he was the driver but we need to talk to him to (know for sure).”
