Amanda Walljasper and Doug Tate, both of Worthington, announce their engagement.
Parents of the couple are Arlo and Sherry Walljasper, New London, Iowa, Sandy Allender, Mount Pleasant, Iowa, and Corky and Ginny Tate, Worthington.
Walljasper is the owner of Schafer’s Health and Gifts in downtown Worthington.
Tate is the president of Worthington Federal Savings Bank.
They plan a Nov. 10 wedding.
