Fall event is today at Hawkeye Point
SIBLEY, Iowa — An “Old Fashioned Fall Gathering” will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at Hawkeye Point, located two miles north of Iowa 9 and Iowa 60.By: Daily Globe, Worthington Daily Globe
SIBLEY, Iowa — An “Old Fashioned Fall Gathering” will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at Hawkeye Point, located two miles north of Iowa 9 and Iowa 60.
The event includes a community tractor ride, apple cider press demonstration, antique tractor displays, musical entertainment, hand corn-shelling demonstrations and hay rides. Kids’ activities include face painting, pumpkin painting, bean bag toss, horseshoes and more.
A whole hog barbecue meal will be served beginning at 11:30 a.m. Free-will donations will be accepted, with proceeds going toward the development of Hawkeye Point.
