Here are some little-remembered facts.
When President Clinton was elected, Congress was controlled by Republicans. Good laws were passed, and our country did well. It was a productive time.
When President George W. Bush was elected, Congress was controlled by the Democrats. No good laws were passed and consequently we had endless regulations, runaway inflation and loss of jobs.
Then, President Obama was elected with the Congress still in Democratic hands. They passed many laws with more regulations, loss of jobs and Obamacare passed by Democrats only. Two years later, the people voted in a Republican House and Democratic Senate. The House put forth good bills, but the Senate either vetoed them or wouldn’t bring them up for a vote.
Do you see a pattern here? In order to get good laws passed, we need both the House and Senate in Republican hands. And, we need a new president — President Romney.
On day one, President Romney said he will work to end Obamacare, bring jobs back, lower taxes and reduce regulations. You can count on him.
Minnesota also needs a Republican Congress — see what good things they will do for Minnesota.
