Accidents

SIBLEY, Iowa — The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash at 1:40 p.m. Wednesday on Iowa 60, north of 230th Street. Involved was a 1990 Ford pickup driven by Dylan James Foster, 19, of Sibley. He failed to make the curve in the road, entered the east shoulder, struck a guardrail and broke through it before coming to rest in the east ditch. His vehicle sustained approximately $4,500 in damage. Foster was cited for failure to maintain control. The guardrail, owned by the Iowa Department of Transportation, sustained approximately $2,000 in damage. No injuries were reported.

Ambulance

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was paged at 7:50 a.m. Thursday to 1381 Knollwood Dr., for a person who suffered a seizure.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was paged at 12:07 p.m. Thursday to 1712 Miller St., for a ill female.

Police

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated at 9:37 p.m. Wednesday the theft of a wallet from the 800 block of Eighth Avenue.

RUSHMORE — The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report at 1:44 a.m. Thursday of people throwing pumpkins off bridges on Interstate 90 near mile markers 30 and 34.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department cited an individual at 5:51 a.m. Thursday for no Minnesota driver’s license near the intersection of Oxford Street and Church Avenue.
