Canby campus evacuated due to bomb threat

CANBY — Authorities evacuated a polling place on the Minnesota West Community and Technical College campus in Canby Tuesday morning because of a bomb threat.

An elections official from Yellow Medicine County told Minnesota Public Radio (MPR) news that section of the Canby campus was evacuated after someone reported seeing a message written on a wall.

Voting was expected to resume at the community college sometime after 1:30 p.m.
