FAIRMONT — The Red Rock Center invites senior citizens in Southern Minnesota and Northern Iowa to view the award winning documentary film “Age of Champions” at 7 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 20 in Fairmont.
The film dives into the lives of senior citizens who have committed themselves to a healthy lifestyle, including physical activity and a balanced diet.
The seniors in the film, all over the age of 60, compete at the National Senior Games in such events as track and field, tennis, swimming and basketball in an attempt to have fun, keep fit and build social relationships through competition.
Following the film, senior athletes from the Fairmont area will lead a discussion on the film and how seniors can pursue a healthier lifestyle.
There will be a free will offering.
