NCE board returns $530,000 in capital credits
WORTHINGTON — The Board of Directors of Nobles Cooperative Electric (NCE), has authorized the payment of $529,949 in capital credits to their members.
WORTHINGTON — The Board of Directors of Nobles Cooperative Electric (NCE), has authorized the payment of $529,949 in capital credits to their members. Capital credits are the difference between NCE’s operating costs and revenues.
Since NCE is a non-profit cooperative, any revenues available after expenses are returned to the member-owners.
Members of NCE who received service during 1992, 1993, and 2011, found a credit on the electric bill they received on Oct. 24.
Capital credit checks were mailed Friday to approximately 1,600 former cooperative members, along with current members receiving more than $500 in capital credits.
Nobles Cooperative Electric is a Touchstone Energy Cooperative serving over 4,900 accounts in Murray and Nobles counties.
