Letter: Halloween candy trade was appreciated

In hopes of preventing cavities, the dentists bought the candy for one dollar per pound of candy brought in.
To all those Tricksters out there who brought in their Halloween candy to sell, we say a big THANK YOU and AWESOME JOB.
We took in about 55 pounds of candy and sent it off to our troops through Operation Gratitude. We know our guys and gals will enjoy the treats, and we had fun, too.
