Fundraiser set for Lake Park man

LAKE PARK, Iowa — A benefit for James Jones is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Lake Park Community Center.
Jones was injured recently during an incident in which a bottle was smashed in his face, resulting in the loss of an eye.
A benefit auction is also scheduled for 2 p.m. at the community center. Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will be matching funds.
