JC Learn to Swim event is Monday
WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Area YMCA will host a fundraiser for the JC Learn to Swim program from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Worthington’s Pizza Ranch.
WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Area YMCA will host a fundraiser for the JC Learn to Swim program from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Worthington’s Pizza Ranch.
Money raised, along with a percentage of sales, will be used for this year’s program.
The JC Learn to Swim program recognizes the efforts of Jami Cummings of Brewster, who was awarded the Minnesota Sheriff’s Association Life Saving Award after saving a woman and young child from drowning in August 2011 in Lake Okabena. The program is offered to all second-graders in Nobles County.
