BOYS WRESTLING: Panthers take down Wildcats

SPRINGFIELD — The Tracy-Milroy-Balaton/Westbrook-Walnut Grove Panthers took down the River Valley Wildcats Tuesday in a non-conference wrestling dual.

The Panthers won eight matches, seven by forfeit and one by pin in the dual. Nash Mayer (106-pounds) got the only pin for T-M-B/W-WG by taking down RV’s Devin Johnson in 1 minute and 11 seconds.

Picking up forfeit wins for the Panthers were Devin Skalek, Caleb Christian, Sterling Schwartz, Anthony Koch, River Zvorak, Austin Peterson, Tanner Michelson and Jake Peterson.

T-M-B/W-WG (2-2) takes part in a two day tournament in Redwood Falls Friday and Saturday.
