Obituary: Diane Holt

Diane Opal Holt, age 71, was born on September 24, 1941, in Sioux Falls, SD, the daughter of Everett J. and Irene (Kuhnau) Holt. She moved to the family farm in Worthington in the Spring of 1942. Diane graduated from Worthington High School and then attended Worthington Junior College and St. Cloud State. She was a travel agent at Metz Travel Agency and then opened The Travel Port with Teddy Fujan. Diane was also a receptionist at South Shore Care Center until her health forced her to retire in 2011. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and the Minnesota Vikings. Diane died on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Diane is survived by her brother, David (LaVonne) Holt of Worthington, MN; nephews and their spouses, Jason and Laura, Nathan and Darci, and Jonathan and Sherry; great nephews, David and Traeton, and great nieces, Brianna, Maelie, Emily, and Emerson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Irene.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 14, 2012, at 1:30 p.m., at the Benson Funeral Home Chapel in Worthington, MN, with Laura Stover officiating.

Burial will be in the Worthington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12:30-1:30 pm on Friday, December 14, 2012 at the Benson Funeral Home.
