WASECA — The Trojans took just 10 shots in an 11-0 loss to the Waseca Bluejays Saturday, while allowing 32 shots on goalie Bailey Kruse in the game.
Waseca picked up goals from Anna Hoehn and Taryn Juberien in the first period to take a 2-0 heading into the first intermission. Bluejays’ goalie Taylor Juberien faced only two shots from the Trojans in the period.
Taryn Juberien picked up Waseca’s first two goals of the second period to complete her hat trick, while Averi Dahlberg and Maddy Knoll added the third and fourth goals of the frame for the Bluejays.
Waseca notched five more goals in the third to take an 11-0 lead by the end of the period. Hoehn, Sammy Strand, Knoll (2 goals) and Katie Johnson all scored in the third for the Bluejays.
The Trojans (0-5) host Fairmont Tuesday then travel to Blaine for the Schwan Cup Tournament.

WINDOM — The Eagles’ Emily Steen made 39 saves on 52 shots in a non-conference loss to Albert Lea Saturday.
Windom Area had just five shots on goal in the game and didn’t register a shot on goal in the third period.
Hannah Savelkoul (two goals), Anna Anderson (two goals) and Kenzie Waldemar all scored for Albert Lea in the first period to put the Eagles in a 5-0 hole after one.
A seven-goal second by Albert Lea put the game even farther out of reach for Windom Area. Ashely Willet (two goals), Anna Englin, Holly Wichmann, Taylor Thompson, Anderson and Sarah Savelkoul scored for Albery Lea in the second.
The Eagles held Albert Lea to just one goal and three shots in the third, but they could not register a comeback.
Windom Area (1-7) heads to Fairmont Thursday then takes part in the Waseca Invitational Dec. 27-29.

Morris/Benson Area 3
LUVERNE — Madisyn Dingman led the undefeated Luverne Cardinals with two goals and an assist in a win over the Morris/Benson Area Storm Saturday in a Southwest Conference girls hockey game.
Cardinals goalie Kennedy Gonnerman stopped 14 of 17 shots on the day, while Morris-Benson Area goalie Shianne Wold made 43 saves on 49 shots.
The Storm struck first with an early first-period goal by Morgan Dehann to take a 1-0 lead. However, the Cardinals evened things up on a Makayla Sterrett goal less than 5 minutes later.
DeHaan scored her second goal of the game at the 8:05 mark in the first to give the Storm back the lead, but the Cardinals scored a goal of their own 10 seconds later to even things up once again.
Ellen Dahl gave Luverne its first lead of the game with less than 30 seconds left in the period to take a 3-2 lead into the intermission.
Morris/Benson Area netted its third goal of the game, this time from Emily Walz, in the second period to tie it up at three. The Storm was also able to hold the Cardinals off the board in the period.
Luverne came out shooting in the third period, taking 19 shots on goal and scoring three unanswered goals to take back the lead for good. Dingmann, Carly Serie, and Monique Aanenson all had goals for the Cardinals in the third, while the Luverne defense held Morris-Benson to just two shots on goal.
The Cardinals (7-0) put their perfect season on line Friday when they host the Marshall Tigers.
