Summary of Minutes

December 6, 2012, 2013 Proposed County

Budget and Tax Levy Public Meeting

The County Board of Nobles County met in regular session

this 6th day of December, 2012, in the Board of

Commissioners Room, at the Nobles County Government

Center, Worthington, Minnesota. The following

Commissioners were in attendance: David Benson,

Robert Demuth Jr., Marvin Zylstra, Vern Leistico and

Diane Thier.

Chairperson David Benson called the meeting to order

and Interim County Administrator, Vijay Sethi, made introductions

and explained the purpose of the informational

meeting. The following Department Heads were

in attendance: Kent Wilkening, County Sheriff; Sharon

Balster, County Auditor-Treasurer, Lynn Wilson, County

Recorder; Joe Udermann, Assessor and David Voehl,

Deputy Assessor; Stacie Golombiecki, Community Services

Director; Stephen Schnieder, Public Works Director;

Julie Wellnitz, Library Director; and Sue Luing, Deputy

County Administrator. Two people from the Media

(newspaper and radio) were in attendance. No comments

and/or questions about proposed property tax increases

and county spending were received. The Board

will meet Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. to

consider adoption of the levy and budget for 2013. Meeting

adjourned
