Accidents

LAKE WILSON — The Minnesota State Patrol responded to a crash at 9:28 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Minnesota 30 and Murray County 29. Involved was a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Dannielle Scotting, 16, of Lake Wilson. Scotting lost control due to poor weather conditions, entered the south ditch and rolled the vehicle. She received non-life threatening injuries. Assisting at the scene was the Murray County Sheriff’s Office.

WORTHINGTON — The Minnesota State Patrol responded to a crash at 12:41 a.m. Thursday on Interstate 90 at the Minnesota 60 overpass. Mimi Sayavong, 22, of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, was driving a 2007 Honda Civic and lost control of the vehicle, striking a pole. A second vehicle driven by Jon McDermott, 52, of New Market, then struck the fallen pole with his 2009 Subaru Forester. Neither Sayavong nor McDermott were injured, while a passenger in the Sayavong vehicle, Sabreena Vongnalath, 15, of Sergeant Bluff, received a minor injury. Assisting at the scene was the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was paged at 11:33 a.m. Thursday to 1504 Murray Ave. for an unspecified reason.

BIGELOW — The Bigelow Rescue was paged at 1:32 p.m. Thursday to 33230 King Ave. for an unresponsive female.
