JACKSON — The Jackson County Central Huskies took a two-point lead into halftime but the hosts couldn’t contain the second-half efforts of Martin County West’s Cordell Weber and Austin Krumwiede in a 57-49 non-conference loss Thursday.
Weber finished with a game-high 21 points, while Krumwiede scored 17 points for the Mavericks (7-2).
Taylor Christopher scored a team-best 12 points, while Jon Harmening posted an 11-point, 10-rebound double-double for the Huskies. Darnell Taylor-Breck added nine points and Nolan Hohenstein finished with six points and eight boards.
Jackson County Central (5-4) hosts Pipestone Area tonight in a Southwest Conference contest.

Marshall 61, Windom 36
WINDOM — Riley Sharbono scored a game-high 21 points to lead the Marshall Tigers to a Southwest Conference win over the Windom Eagles Thursday.
Sharbono also collected seven rebounds as the Tigers beat the Eagles on the glass, 48-38.
Collin Lovell led Windom with 11 points and nine rebounds. The Eagles had 20 turnovers in the game, while Marshall (8-1, 4-0) committed 13 miscues.
Windom (4-5, 1-4) hosts Mountain Lake Area on Saturday afternoon in a girls-boys doubleheader. Originally slated to be held in the evening, the doubleheader will begin with the girls game at 3 p.m and the boys game at 4:30 p.m.

COTTONWOOD —The Fulda Raiders fell to the Lakeview Lakers in non-conference action Thursday night.
In a back-and-forth game, an unconventional 4-point play with 90 seconds remaining spurred the Lakers to the victory.
Fulda, which held a two-point lead late, fouled Max Horner on a 3-point attempt and Horner converted the first two to tie the game. Following a miss on the third try, Jonah Dovre cleaned up in the paint with a putback basket to give the Lakers the lead for good.
Dovre finished with 21 points to lead all scorers.
Nathan Getting paced the Raiders with 14 points and six rebounds, while Zach Holt added 13 points, seven steals and five boards. Andy Oakland (six points) collected 10 rebounds to lead Fulda and Todd Peterson and Josh Ramerth each added eight points.
Fulda (4-6) hosts Ellsworth in a Red Rock Conference game tonight.

Harris-Lake Park 64, George-Little Rock 40
LAKE PARK, Iowa — Colin Brons led a trio of Wolves in double figures as Harris-Lake Park improved to 10-1 overall, toppling the George-Little Rock Mustangs in a non-conference boys’ basketball game Thursday.
Brons finished with 16 points and added eight rebounds and five steals, while Eli Ihnen totaled 15 points and Kade Heikens added 14 points and five assists.
Tanner Ver Steg led the Mustangs with 10 points.
George-Little Rock travels to Sibley-Ocheyedan tonight for a Siouxland Conference game, while Harris-Lake Park is off until Jan. 14 when the Wolves play Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn in a non-conference game.
