EDGERTON — Amber Pater led the Southwest Christian Eagles with 16 points in a 59-35 win over the Pipestone Area Arrows Thursday night in a non-conference girls’ basketball game.
The Eagles held an eight point lead heading into intermission, but went on a 14-2 run to start the second half to pull away for good.
Savannah Tinklenberg and Hannah Van Dyke both had 14 points for the Eagles, with Van Dyke adding four assists and five steals in the game. Tianna Top led the team in rebounds with eight, while Kelly Tinklenberg had six rebounds. Kara Homandberg picked up six steals in the game.
The Arrows were led by Megan Raymond, who had 10 points and three steals in the game, while Kelly Nettik added seven points. Kari Foss had six rebounds in the game to go along with four assists from Cassie Evans.
SWC (8-4) hosts Adrian today, while PA (1-10) hosts Marshall today.

JACKSON — Marita Rasche put up 15 points, 10 rebounds and four assists to lead the Jackson County Central Huskies past the Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Panthers Thursday.
The Panthers led by one at halftime, but an aggressive defense and good shooting in the second half helped the Huskies cruise to the win. JCC out rebounded T-M-B 47-36 in the game.
Lydia Brandt had 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Huskies, while Kaylee Burmeister added 12 points and five steals. Julia Schumann picked up nine points and four assists to go along with 11 rebounds and six blocks by Sarah Brandt.
Cassandra Hook led the Panthers with 20 points in the game, while Sammie Gervais had 15 points.
The Huskies (8-8) head to Fairmont Monday to face the Cardinals and the Panthers (5-5) host Central Minnesota Christian today.
