FULDA — Sariah Cheadle scored a team-high 22 points and added five assists to help the Fulda Raiders to a 69-45 win over the Edgerton Flying Dutchmen in a Red Rock Conference girls basketball game Saturday.
The Raiders outscored the Dutchmen 45-23 in the first half and were able to extend their lead to 35 points with 8 minutes left in the second half.
Courtney Tiesler and Rachel Cheadle both picked up 14 points, while Tiesler had five assists and Cheadle had seven rebounds. Melissa Gehl added nine points and five rebounds to go along with Brittney Hermeling’s seven assists.
The Dutchmen were led by Jessica Menning with 10 points as well as nine points and 13 rebounds from Tanner Gunnink.
Fulda (12-4, 7-2) travels to Southwestern United Tuesday, while Edgerton (2-11, 2-8) hosts Russell-Tyler-Ruthton today.

JEFFERS — An 8-0 run late in the first half helped Southwestern United take a 25-20 halftime advantage Saturday night, and the Wildcats led throughout the entire second half to claim a 14-point victory over the Red Rock Central Falcons in a Red Rock Conference girls’ basketball game.
Courtney Place paced SWU with 17 points, four assists, three steals and five shot blocks, while Sarah Baumgard finished with 15 points and seven rebounds.
Kailey Wendland (nine points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals), Andrea Hinkeldey (six points, 10 rebounds) and Autumn Hinkeldey (four assists, three steals) were among the other statistical leaders for the Wildcats, who are now 5-9 overall and 4-4 in the conference.
Melanie Kedl led RRC with 10 points. Rachel Kedl scored six points, and Leslie Sorenson scored five points for the Falcons (2-12, 1-7).
SWU hosts Fulda Tuesday and RRC plays at Murray County Central the same night.

EDGERTON — Amber Pater racked up 21 points to go along with five steals for the Southwest Christian Eagles in a victory over the Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers Saturday.
The Eagles used a well balanced offensive attack to jump out to a 22 point lead at halftime and never looked back.
Savannah Tinklenberg was second on the team in scoring with 14 points, while Kelly Tinklenberg added 10 points. Tianna Top came up with eight rebounds and Jennifer Schmidt had five steals. Hannah Van Dyke picked up four assists and four steals.
Abby Herding led the Chargers with 15 points to go along with 12 points from Paige Erickson in the game.
The Eagles (11-4, 8-0) hosts the Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots Tuesday, while the Chargers (6-9, 5-5) host the Adrian Dragons Friday.

HILLS — Paige Brown dropped 25 points and picked up 16 rebounds to lead the Mountain Lake Area Wolverines past the Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots Saturday.
The Wolverines led by 13 at halftime, but the Patriots outscored the Wolverines 36-27 in the second half to cut the lead down to four by the end of the game.
Second in scoring for the Wolverines was Jenessa Peters who had 14 points and seven rebounds.
Stats for the Patriots were not submitted by the time of publication.
The Wolverines (6-7, 3-4) take on the Adrian Dragons Tuesday in Adrian, while the Patriots (5-9, 2-7) host Central Lyon today.

ELLSWORTH — Taylor Schreier led the Murray County Central Rebels with 19 points in a win over the Ellsworth Panthers Saturday.
The Rebels led by nine at halftime and were able to end the game with a nine point lead as well.
Morgan Behrends was second for the Rebels in scoring with 17 points.
Alexa Huisman had a game-high 26 points, while Bridget Kramer had 18 points, five assists and four steals.
Murray County Central (6-7, 5-5) hosts the Red Rock Central Falcons Tuesday, while Ellsworth (8-8, 4-5) travels to Fairmont today.

SIBLEY, Iowa — Alyssa Stofferan put up 15 points to lead the Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals in a loss to Spirit Lake Saturday.
The Generals trailed by five at halftime and were outscored 29-25 in the second half to fall by nine points.
Bridget Doeden was second on the team with 10 points to go along with 14 rebounds and four steals. Kayla Ackerman and Michaela Wolter both had three assists for the Generals.
Spirit Lake was led by Alissa Christoffer with 23 points along with 13 points from K.J. Veldman and 12 from Emma Dau.
The Generals (6-9, 5-8) travel to Sioux Center Tuesday.

SIBLEY, Iowa — Joe Storbakken led the Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals with 12 points in loss to Spirit Lake Saturday.
The Generals were shut out in the first quarter, while Spirit Lake put up 17 points to put S-O in an early whole.
Ty Hanna was second on the team in scoring with 11 points, while Devin Vander Veen had six rebounds.
Spirit Lake was led by Sam Harms who had 13 points.
The Generals (0-13) travel to Sioux Center Tuesday.
