WINDOM — Eleven players found the scoring sheet as the Windom Area Eagles toppled the Murray County Central Rebels 57-38 in a non-conference boys basketball game Monday night.
Bryce Bever led the Eagles with 12 points, while Trenton Bever added 11 counters. Both Bever’s charted seven rebounds and Andy Pfeffer totaled six points, eight assists and four steals for Windom (7-8 overall, 1-6 Southwest Conference).
Sam Erickson topped MCC (2-10 overall, 2-5 Red Rock Conference) with 12 points.
The Rebels travel to play Red Rock Central in Lamberton Thursday, while the Eagles host Pipestone Area in a league meeting Friday.

Russell-Tyler-Ruthton 89, Edgerton 61
EDGERTON — Receiving all of its scoring from the starting lineup, Russell-Tyler-Ruthton improved to 14-1 overall with a non-league win over the Edgerton Flying Dutchmen.
Brett Peterson led the Class A, fifth-ranked Knights with 24 points. Shay Wabeke followed with 22 markers, while Dylan Kor totaled 18, Brett Vercruysse added 15 and Newt Dunblazier scored 10.
Brett Ford paced the Dutchmen with 20 points, while Austin Mertens tallied a line of 13 points, nine rebounds and two steals. Isaac Heard dished out five assists to go along with his 11 points, Jesse Berning added nine points and Luke Drooger collected two steals.
Edgerton (4-6 overall, 3-3 Red Rock Conference) travels to play crosstown-rival Southwest Christian on Thursday. The Eagles are ranked No. 3 in Class A.

HILLS — The Central Lyon Lions went on a run before halftime to take a nine-point lead at the intermission and managed to hold off the Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots, who closed the gap to one point several times, in a non-conference game.
Nic Lutmer led Central Lyon (6-9 overall, 3-9 Siouxland Conference) with 19 points and nine rebounds. The Lions host Okoboji in a league matchup tonight.
Jeff Sandbulte and Dylan Gehrke led the Patriots in scoring with 19 and 18 points, respectively. Carey Taubert totaled 10 points and eight rebounds for Hills-Beaver Creek (4-8 overall, 2-4 Red Rock Conference).
The Patriots travel to Westbrook to play a conference game with Westbrook-Walnut Grove Thursday.

LUVERNE — The Cardinals placed 13 players in the scoring sheet Monday night as Luverne defeated the Adrian Dragons in a non-conference game.
Josh Slieter led the Cardinals with 14 points to go along with seven rebounds and three steals. Matthew Overgaard added 13 points and five rebounds, Matthew Arends totaled nine points, four rebounds, four steals and three assists and Spencer Riphagen grabbed seven rebounds for Luverne (10-5 overall, 5-2 Southwest Conference).
Brady Lonneman scored 13 points to lead the Dragons, while Nick Reyne added 12 points and Taylor Recker totaled five points and eight rebounds.
Adrian (0-15 overall, 0-7 Red Rock Conference) travels to Ellsworth Thursday for a league game, while the Cardinals play at St. James Saturday in a non-conference meeting.

GEORGE, Iowa — The George-Little Rock Mustangs lost to the Unity Christian Knights in a non-conference game Monday.
George-Little Rock (2-14 overall, 1-11 Siouxland Conference) hosts MOC-Floyd Valley (ranked No.5 in Iowa Class 3A) in a league game tonight.
