esse Le Bartholmey, 18, of Wilmont was scheduled to make an initial appearance Jan. 15 on charges including one petty misdemeanor and six felonies — two counts of selling marijuana in a school, park, public housing zone, or drug treatment facility, two counts of selling a marijuana mixture with no renumeration; and two counts of possessing marijuana.
Bartholmey’s initial appearance was waived and canceled. An omnibus hearing was scheduled for Feb. 5.
Mathew James Poppema, 18, of Worthington appeared in court on Jan. 15 for a contested omnibus hearing on charges of one felony (marijuana possession) and two gross misdemeanors, one misdemeanor and four petty misdemeanors.
The presiding judge took the omnibus under advisement and will make a decision within 90 days as allowed by Minnesota state law.
Nelson Pineda-Rivas, 30, of Worthington made an initial appearance in court Jan. 15 on charges of two felonies — assault with a dangerous weapon and terroristic threats with reckless disregard of the risk of causing harm to the public — and for a domestic assault misdemeanor.
Francisca Garcia, 28, of Worthington was scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 15 for a motion hearing on a felony charge of wrongfully obtaining assistance — theft — by false statements, concealment or impersonation. The motion hearing was canceled.
Alison Joan Banegas, 28, of Worthington was scheduled to appear court Jan. 16 for a pre-trial hearing for a felony charge of theft by swindle.
The pre-trial and jury trial, scheduled for Jan. 30, were canceled when Banegas petitioned to enter a guilty plea. The plea hearing date was scheduled for Jan. 29.
Christopher Daniel Hawkinson, 29, of Montrose, Minnesota appeared in court Jan. 16 for a pre-trial hearing on charges that included five felonies — receiving stolen property; DWI; burglary and theft; indifference to owner rights; and driving a motor vehicle without owner consent.
A jury trial was scheduled for Jan. 30 and 31.
Amber Lee Hedrick, 35, of Wyoming, Minnesota appeared in court Jan. 16 for a pre-trail hearing on two gross misdemeanors and two felonies, drug possession and forgery.
