Letter: Old yearbooks sought by former owner

The loss of several high school yearbooks dating back to the mid-1940s has now become my focus in an effort to relocate their whereabouts and hopefully have them returned.
Among the assorted yearbooks, with signatures of ownership for identification, were those from years 1947 and 1949. I would like to have these particular annuals back. They were accidentally included in boxes of books at our local household auction in September 2010. Their only value is of a sentimental nature to this owner.
