FF&E Bids for Worthington Event Center

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

FF&E FOR WORTHINGTON EVENT CENTER

The City of Worthington is now accepting bids for the purchase and installation of the FF&E for its Worthington Event Center (WEC). Sealed bids must be received at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Worthington, Minnesota, by 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 22, 2013, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of City Hall by City staff. The bids and the responsibility of the bidders will be considered publicly by the City Council at 7:00 P.M., Monday, February 25, 2013 in the Council Chambers of City Hall, which is located at 303 Ninth Street, Worthington, Minnesota, 56187.

Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cash, money order or bid bond for at least five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, made payable to the City of Worthington, which amount shall be forfeited as liquidated damages if the bidder, upon the letting of the contract to him, shall fail to enter into the contract so let.

Bid documents can be viewed at the offices of the City of Worthington or on line at www.worthington.mn.us under the Public Notices section on the main page.

The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities therein and further reserves the right to award the contract to the best interests of the City.

All bids must be addressed to City Clerk, City of Worthington, PO Box 279, Worthington, Minnesota 56187, and must be endorsed thereon “Event Center FF&E Bid”.
