I received in the mail a letter that had no return address and was signed “from a grandmother who prays for her granddaughters.” She was responding to my letter to the called “A contrast.”
Those who are fortunate to have a grandmother have a special place in their hearts for them. I do not know this grandmother, but I respect her.
She asked the question, “Have I ever heard of a woman being charged with rape?” Yes, I have, but nowadays it’s called criminal sexual contact. She firmly believes that men “misbehaving” and not being responsible is the main reason there are abortions.
She suggested I write a letter to the editor and tell men they need to be responsible. All of us, both men and women, need to be responsible and morally accountable for our actions.
