Obituary: Ivan Harlow

Ivan E. Harlow, 95, died on Sunday, January 27, 2013, at his residence in Worthington, MN.

He was born on October 31, 1917, in Woodbine, IA, the son of Orville and Margaret (Keller) Harlow. Ivan graduated from Central High School in Sioux City, IA. He married Delores Nordstrom on January 15, 1947. They were married fifty years, until her death on May 10, 1997.

Ivan served in the United States Army from May 1941 to November 1945. He then enlisted in the Iowa Air National Guard in February 1947 to August 1950.

Ivan is survived by his three children, Steve (Geri) Harlow of Mesa, AZ, Bob Harlow of Mesa, AZ, and Vickie (Steve) Gronewold of Worthington, MN; grandchildren; great grandchildren, and a great great grandson.

Graveside services, with military rites, will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013, at 1:00 p.m., at the Worthington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Cards of condolences may be sent to Vickie Gronewold, 620 Grand Ave, Worthington, MN 56187.

Benson Funeral Home in Worthington is in charge of the arrangements.
